Some weddings are grand celebrations filled with hundreds of guests, elaborate timelines, and big productions. And then there are weddings like Hunter and Trenton’s — beautifully simple, deeply personal, and overflowing with meaning.

On October 31st, beneath the Florida sun and the gentle rhythm of the waves, Hunter and Trenton promised forever to one another on Redington Beach. It was the kind of day photographers dream about: a quiet shoreline, a cool day here in Florida for sure but it kept the beach uncrowded for us.

A Ceremony Made for Two… and for Everyone Watching Back Home

Their wedding day was intentionally intimate. Just Hunter, Trenton, their officiant, and me — standing together in the sand as they spoke their vows with only the Gulf as their witness.

But even though the beach was quiet, their hearts were full knowing that friends and family back in their hometown of Bellaire, Ohio were watching live. We livestreamed the ceremony so their loved ones could be part of the moment in real time, sending love and support from hundreds of miles away. It was a beautiful blend of intimacy and connection — a tiny wedding with a big circle of love wrapped around it.

These small elopements always remind me why I love this work so much — the emotion is pure, undistracted, and so easy to feel through the lens.
